WHAT TIME IS IT IN WASHINGTON???

RE-ENLISTED: After a decade in the private sector, retired Vice Adm. Mike McConnell, 63, has been nominated to oversee the 16 U.S. spy agencies.
WHAT'S AHEAD: At a confirmation hearing Thursday, senators will ask where he'll take the country's 100,000 intelligence employees.
IN HIS OWN WORDS: "Unlike just a decade ago, the threats of today and the future are moving at increasing speeds and across organizational and geographic boundaries."
